What does full-service moving include?
ArtFixPro manages the whole transition into your new home: designer-led space planning, packing, transport, furniture assembly, TV and wall mounting, curtain installation, unpacking, room-by-room placement, organizing and cleaning. On the Platinum plan we also coordinate approved furniture and decor purchases and style the apartment. What's included depends on the plan you choose.
How is this different from a regular moving company?
A regular moving company transports boxes and leaves the setup to you. ArtFixPro delivers the finished home: we plan the layout with you and a designer, book and manage the movers, assemble furniture, install TVs, shelves, art and curtains, put belongings into their agreed drawers, closets and shelves, remove the packing debris and clean — one company coordinating everything instead of several vendors.
Who does the actual moving?
Packing and transport are carried out by a partner moving company that ArtFixPro books and manages as part of your plan. Furniture assembly, TV and wall mounting, curtains and the setup are done by ArtFixPro installers. You deal with one move manager from the walkthrough to move-in day.
Will my belongings be unpacked and put where they belong?
Yes. The placement plan is agreed in advance. The team puts clothing, kitchen items, bathroom essentials, decor and everyday belongings into their intended drawers, cabinets, closets, shelves and surfaces, so you can arrive and start living.
Can you buy furniture and accessories for the new apartment?
Yes, on the Platinum plan. The designer prepares the layout and a purchasing list for your approval; ArtFixPro then coordinates the approved furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, decor and essentials through delivery, assembly and final placement.
Do I need to stay in the apartment while you work?
No. Many clients spend a night with friends or at a hotel while the team completes the setup. The exact schedule depends on the apartment size, the scope, building access and the approved project timeline.

New York City, New Jersey and destinations within approximately 100 miles of Manhattan. Longer-distance relocations may be arranged after a project review.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead for Gold and Platinum. Silver moves can often be scheduled within 5–7 days. A rush move within 48–72 hours is available as an add-on.
What does the free walkthrough include?
The move manager reviews both apartments, measures rooms, assesses the furniture, counts the wall installations and agrees the placement plan with you. The project quote is fixed after the walkthrough and the approved scope.
How are full-service moving prices calculated?
The planning price depends on apartment size, the volume and type of belongings, building access, distance, wall installations and the level of setup you choose. Pick your apartment size above to compare starting prices; the final quote follows the walkthrough.
Can I customize my plan?
Yes. During the walkthrough we define the rooms, furniture, purchases, installations, organizing and arrival details you want, then build the scope and quote around that finished-home result. Add-ons such as Deposit Saver, junk removal and storage coordination can be added to any plan.
What is the Deposit Saver add-on?
A move-out package for your old apartment: we patch holes, touch up paint and deep clean to help you get your security deposit back. It's priced by apartment size, from $276 for a studio.
Is ArtFixPro insured?
Yes. ArtFixPro carries $5 million in liability coverage and workers' compensation, and can send a certificate of insurance (COI) to your building on request — most NYC buildings ask for one before a move.
