The Frame hangs almost flat against the wall on Samsung's slim mount. That leaves very little room for error: the wall surface, the anchors and the mount position all have to be right, or the TV sits proud or crooked.

What a Frame installation includes
We hang your Samsung The Frame on its slim mount, level and centered where you want it, connect the One Connect box and your devices, and route the One Connect cable — neatly dressed, in a paintable cover, or inside the wall where the wall allows it. Plans are $120, $150 and $200.

Why The Frame is different
Four things we plan before drilling
Height & alignment
A TV that pretends to be a painting should line up like one — with the art grid, a mantel, the sofa or the window frame. We mark the position with you before the first hole.
The One Connect box
All inputs plug into a separate box joined to the TV by one thin cable. The box needs a ventilated spot within the cable's reach — that decides where the cable runs.
Power vs. signal
Depending on the model year, power either travels through the One Connect cable or needs its own cord at the TV. We check your model number first, so you're not left with a cord across the wall.

The standard One Connect cable is 5 m (16.5 ft); Samsung sells a 15 m version for longer runs and an in-wall rated cord for runs inside a wall.

Power is separate from signal. If your model needs power at the TV, the cord can't simply be pushed through the wall. The code-compliant route is a recessed in-wall power kit — included in the Pro plan — or, if the building requires it, an outlet added by a licensed electrician.

Frame installs in Manhattan buildings
In a doorman building, The Frame is often the easy part. The COI for management, the service elevator, quiet hours and whether you may drill into a concrete column decide the schedule. We check those with you first, so installation day is just installation.
Prewar plaster and brick need gentle drilling and the right anchors; new-construction high-rises often mean poured concrete. See concrete wall mounting for how we handle it.

Who can mount a Samsung Frame TV in Manhattan?
ArtFixPro installs Samsung The Frame in Manhattan apartments and across NYC. Plans start at $120; we hang The Frame on its slim mount, align it with the room, connect the One Connect box and route its cable in a surface cover ($150 plan) or inside the wall where the wall and building allow ($200 plan). We can send a certificate of insurance to your building.
Does The Frame come with its wall mount?
The Frame is designed for Samsung's slim, near-flush wall mount, which ships in the box with many models. Check the box before the appointment; if the mount is missing, order the Samsung mount listed for your exact model so the TV sits flush.
Where can the One Connect box go?
Anywhere the One Connect cable can reach: a media console or cabinet below the TV, a shelf, or a closet or room on the other side of the wall. The standard cable is 5 meters (16.5 ft) and Samsung sells a longer 15-meter version. The Frame Pro (2025) uses a wireless One Connect box instead, so only power runs to the TV.
Can the One Connect cable run inside the wall?
It can when the wall allows it and the cord is rated for in-wall use — Samsung sells an in-wall One Connect cord for exactly this, to meet fire-safety rules. Building rules, fire blocking, masonry and insulation can rule out an in-wall run; then a paintable surface cover is the clean alternative.
Does The Frame need a power outlet behind the TV?
It depends on the model year. Some Frame models take their power through the One Connect cable; others — including The Frame Pro — need a power cord at the TV. Send us the model number from the box or the label (for example QN65LS03…) and we'll plan the outlet before the visit. A new outlet behind the TV is electrical work for a licensed electrician.
Can you hang The Frame on brick, plaster or concrete?
Yes. The slim mount is anchored with hardware suited to the wall — studs or rated anchors in drywall, careful drilling in prewar plaster, masonry anchors in brick and concrete-rated anchors in poured concrete, following the building's drilling rules.
Can you mount The Frame above a fireplace?
Sometimes. A fireplace wall adds heat and height questions, and the One Connect box still needs a reachable home. See our fireplace page and send photos of the wall and mantel so we can confirm before booking.
