The short answer
ArtFixPro hangs pictures, art and photographs in Manhattan and across NYC for $100 per hour with a $100 minimum. Mirrors, shelves and curtain rods can go on the same visit — just add them to the booking.
What we hang
Large canvases and framed art centered on the wall or over furniture, at a height that works with the room.
Grids, salon-style clusters and staircase runs — planned on the floor or with templates, then hung to a common line.
Cleats, Z-bars and multiple anchors for weight that a single nail or hook shouldn't carry.
Entry, bathroom and oversized mirrors on hardware rated for glass weight.
Floating and bracket shelves, level and anchored for what they'll hold.
Rods, ceiling tracks, blinds and shades — fixed prices from $100.
Gallery walls
We arrange the pieces with you on the floor or tape paper templates to the wall, so you can see it before any holes.
A center line or a top and bottom line ties the group together — usually around eye level.
Each piece goes up on hardware chosen for its weight, leveled against its neighbors.
Walls & hardware
The hanging hook that came with the frame is rarely the right answer for a New York wall. We match the hardware to both.
| Drywall | Studs where they line up; otherwise anchors rated for the frame's weight. |
|---|---|
| Prewar plaster | Careful drilling to avoid cracks; hooks or anchors suited to plaster and lath. |
| Brick | Masonry anchors in solid brick, not mortar joints. |
| Poured concrete | Concrete-rated anchors, within the building's rules. Concrete mounting |
| Heavy pieces | French cleats, Z-bars or two-point hanging so the frame stays level. |

Questions
Picture and art hanging is $100 per hour with a $100 minimum. The time depends on the number and size of pieces, the wall type and how much layout planning a gallery wall needs. Tell us the count of small and large pieces in the booking form so we can plan the visit.
Yes. We lay out the arrangement with you — on the floor or with paper templates on the wall — agree the spacing and the center line, then mark, level and hang each piece.
A common gallery guideline puts the center of a piece or group about 57 to 60 inches from the floor. Above a sofa or console, the bottom edge usually sits several inches above the furniture. We adjust to your ceiling height and furniture before anything is drilled.
Yes. Heavy pieces get hardware rated for their weight — French cleats, Z-bars or multiple anchors — set into studs, masonry or anchors suited to the wall. Mention weights and sizes in the booking notes.
Yes. Prewar plaster is drilled carefully to avoid cracking, brick gets masonry anchors and poured concrete gets concrete-rated anchors, following the building's drilling rules.
