Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it when you visit our website or schedule an appointment/make a purchase on our website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).
Mobile information and service text messages
If you opt in, ArtFixPro LLC uses your mobile number to respond to your service request and coordinate estimates, scheduling and appointments. Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop text messages or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging providers may process the information needed to deliver these service messages. This SMS-specific rule applies to mobile information and opt-in consent even where the rest of this policy describes service providers or other permitted information sharing.
We retain the consent choice, phone number, source form, wording version and server-recorded time with the service request. A phone number or service request alone is not SMS opt-in. You can request help or withdraw messaging consent by contacting info@artfixpro.com.
What Personal Data We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
-
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
-
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
-
“Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
We use all the info that you share with us to make an appointment and we will share it with our related technician or 3rd parties.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
Site statistics
We run our own visitor statistics on the Site. When you open a page, a small script on the Site sends us the page address and title, the website or search engine that referred you, campaign tags in the link (such as UTM parameters or a Google Ads click ID), your browser language and screen size, how long the page stayed open in an active tab and how far you scrolled it. It also records clicks on phone, text message, WhatsApp, email and booking buttons and on links to other websites, and whether a booking form was opened, sent or failed to send, together with the estimated order total. It never records what you type into a form.
The script keeps a random visitor ID and a random visit ID in your browser’s local storage (not in cookies) so we can tell a new visit from a returning one. The Site also keeps there, for 30 days, the campaign tags, referring website and first page of your last visit that came from an ad or another website; if you send a booking request, these are saved with it so we know which advertising brought it. When the data reaches our server, we add your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (city, region, postal code, country and time zone), your Internet service provider, and the device type, operating system and browser named by your browser.
We use this information only to understand how people find and use the Site, to improve our pages and to protect the Site and our booking forms from spam and fraud. It is available only to ArtFixPro, it is never sold, and it is not used for advertising. The data is processed and stored on the Cloudflare network, which acts as our service provider (see Cloudflare’s privacy policy). Statistics records are deleted automatically 12 months after they are collected. You can remove the IDs at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, or block the script with a content blocker; the Site works normally without it.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages. Clarity records heatmaps and session replays that show how a page was displayed, scrolled, tapped and clicked. What you type and the contents of our booking forms are masked, and Clarity is not used on the invoice payment page. Microsoft collects this usage data with first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies and handles it as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We use it only to improve the Site and to check our marketing campaigns.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and, when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Google Tools to power our website – you can read more about how Google Tools uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/legal/privacy. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site – you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can opt out of Google Analytics here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our site statistics and the delivery of booking requests run on Cloudflare, which processes this information on our behalf. Microsoft receives the usage data that Microsoft Clarity collects, as described under “Site statistics.”
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. We also use some information for our email marketing.
