Commercial moving questions
What types of businesses do you relocate?
Offices, retail stores, studios, clinics, restaurants and other commercial spaces. The scope is confirmed during a walkthrough — especially when heavy, specialized or regulated equipment is involved.
Who does the actual moving?
Packing and transport are carried out by a partner moving company that ArtFixPro books and manages as part of the project. Furniture reassembly, installations and the setup are done by ArtFixPro installers, and one project contact coordinates everything with you and the building.
What is included in a commercial move?
Depending on the approved scope: move planning, an inventory, packing and labeling, protected transport, furniture disassembly and reassembly, placement by room or department, selected installations, packing material removal and a final walkthrough.
Can you move a business after hours or on weekends?
Yes, when the building, crew and scope allow it. The move window is confirmed in writing before the project begins.
Can you provide a COI for the building?
Yes. ArtFixPro can send a certificate of insurance for commercial projects. Share the building's requirements, freight elevator rules and loading procedures before the schedule is confirmed.
Do you move computers and IT equipment?
We physically move computers, monitors, printers and other approved equipment as part of the scope. We don't design networks, run cabling, configure servers or set up IT systems — your IT provider should plan the shutdown, reconnection and testing.
Do you offer space planning and design?
Yes. Move + Workspace Setup includes space planning and a 3D office or workspace layout. The Designer-Led Turnkey Business Space adds approved furniture and accessory purchasing, delivery coordination and final styling.
Can you store our furniture or business contents?
Yes. Storage can be added when move-in dates don't line up, when downsizing, or for a phased transition. Storage duration, inventory and redelivery are written into the project scope.
How are commercial moving prices calculated?
By square footage, inventory, distance, crew size, access, elevator and loading requirements, packing, storage, schedule, installations and the level of setup requested. We send a detailed quote after reviewing the project.
Can you relocate a restaurant or retail store?
Yes. Furniture, displays, shelving, fixtures and approved non-specialized equipment can be included. Specialized kitchen, industrial, medical or unusually heavy equipment may need a dedicated specialist and is reviewed separately.
